Brainpad’s Cloudstock is an analysis platform which enables companies to handle large volumes of data. The platform works in combination with Amazon S3 for storage, Greenplum for data processing and aggregation and Pentaho for visualization.

As businesses expand, the volume of data grows too. Traditional relational databases or software have reached their limits in supporting these modern, difficult situations. At the same time, companies are forced to replace legacy information systems. However, it is difficult to pinpoint which platform best suits their needs. The cost involved is also problematic, running into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

To counter these challenges, Brainpad developed Cloudstock, an analytic platform-as-a-service.

Cloudstock offers high-speed, analytical environments and customers can fully benefit from the winning combination of  its three core components:
- Amazon S3 is a cloud storage service which provides disk space on an as-needed basis;
- Greenplum is an MPP database on which data processing and aggregation of Big Data can be done in a short space of time.
- Pentaho is a browser-based business intelligence platform which permits fast access to the database and visualizes this data in many ways

Brainpad developed templates where the customer can monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the social game and other business fields.
Furthermore, Brainpad can help customers with top-class consultancy and advice. Over time, Brainpad has built up a lot of evidence-based and experience-based insights from customers in several business domains.

As this is a platform-as-a-service offering, customers are charged per month, according to the amount of data a customer has on Amazon S3.

Brainpad’s main focus is on the market for social games.
